Sony promises Xperia S, P & U to get ICS as scheduled

The promised ICS update on Sony’s NXT smartphones that includes S, P and U are still right on schedule according to Sony. The Android update is expected to arrive this June with the Xperia U’s update slightly delayed and is expected to arrive by the 3rd quarter of the year.

Sony Xperia S unboxed, in the flesh!

When I arrived at home a couple of days ago, I was surprised see two units of the Sony Xperia S waiting for me. The folks from Sony Mobile Philippines sent in a unit and then our friends from Widget City also shipped in a review unit. Sony Walkman Mobile Entertainment Player

We saw the prototype unit of Sony’s Mobile Entertainment Player last night and it looks like the Xperia Arc, minus the curves. It’s Sony’s equivalent of the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0, just a bot smaller.
