Just a quick link to Marc’s post about this open letter from John Bertrand of JNB Web Promotion, a local SEO outsourcing company which is was also a sponsor of the isulong seoph contest.

Obviously a misguided concern, IMHO. Just look at the date of the open letter: Sep 26, 2006 8:55 PM.
Why, oh, why did it took Mr. Bertrand almost four (4) long months before composing and sending this email to everyone? He’s a member of the SEO Philippines YahooGroups too so there’s no reason he can’t reach his intended audience with the “message”.
I agree with Marc, just go ahead and remove the links and mentions about the sponsorship then let’s all move on.
i already did remove the link on my entry site. shame to Mr.Bertrand! i do also have my own rant on my Isulong SEOPH entry. haaayy.. hanggang #6 lang kya ko. i want Web Professor #3 prize! hehe.
i personally know that john bertrand. nung nasa bacolod pa lang ako. alam ko rin racket nya. kaya nga nung nakita ko sya nag po-post sa yahoogroups before, feeling ko isang bangungot na bumalik sya ulit sa isipan ko.
and here he goes again. nag kalat na naman.

Hello everyone, after visiting the contest, i realized this contest was wrong, no one could even tell what he/she did for the blogs he did seo for. I understand know why JNB Web Promotion backed out. Coz what Malalua telling us, is very unprofessional. I believe, no one would outsource to the Philippines when we can only optimize blogs. Most blogs are just stuped texts about any stupid topic. To me, JNB WEB PTOMOTION, is the best seo firm in the Philippines.
