Messing around with the Theme

After several weeks mulling over the CSS reboot of this blog, and after considering several of the earlier comments and suggestions, I’ve finally decided to roll out a minor tweak to the theme.

Some of the more obvious changes are the background (I wanted to be a little artsy this time), the logo and some font sizes and colors. Hope the improvements are appreciated by the reading public.

I agree with Noemi regarding the striped background. Nakakahilo. Hehe :D

Not so sure bout the logo though. IMO the first one was better. Btw, I think you need to have a real logo like ProBlogger or ShoeMoney. Something that would create your identity and you could also use it as your favicon. :D

Not sure this is an improvement. :-(

I like the other logo better.

Thanks for pumping up the body font size though.

What are you all talking about? I still see the diagonal stripes

I must admit although this new theme may not be the best one it’s far better than your previous. Couldn’t agree more with noemi. I’m absolutely certain that your stripey theme wouldn’t make this site popular if you started off like that irregardless of the content (just kidding). I wish i know how to create a more attractive theme or even just the logo and a bit of “catchy” image on homepage. Are you good at it yuga? or I might just do it as a contest in the very, very near future and award the chosen Filipino designer with $200 (is that enough?).

@jayvee- emo? I think it has a zen-like feel to it. I like it. Orangey with the branches=zen=relaxing=soothing. Right?

  11. Much better. Hehe. Ano yung nasa background? Snowflakes?

  12. Kiven says:

more zen cguro sa buhay ni abe hehe

  13. AJ says:

    nice fresh look abe.

yung ads mo sa right sidebar masakit sa mata! haha.
ang nakikita ko sa kanila ay face mo with Peso sign in your twinkling eyes.
    joke only lang. hehe

*clap* *clap* pa rin sa master blogger. :D

  14. BrianB says:

I agree with Jayvee. Emo nga. Baklain, kung sa Ingles pa.

  15. BrianB says:

Wait a minute. Why did I still see diagional lines while everybody didn’t see it anymore? Hm.

I like this one, kabayan. My eyes weren’t comfortable with the last one, which had stripes as part of the background.
