Adobe Lightroom and Camera Raw gets updated

Adobe has recently released the latest build of the Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) which brings a handful of bug fixes and adds support for newer cameras and lenses.

Apart from a new suite of cameras and lenses, Lightroom 5.3 also adds support for Tethered Capture for the Canon EOS 650D / Kiss X6i / Rebel T4i dSLR camera, as well as support for Camera Matching color profiles for a handful of Olympus cameras.

For Photoshop CC users, updating the Adobe Camera Raw will also bring a few improvements such as Auto-Straighten, Automatic Adjustment features for Whites, Blacks, Tint and Temperature. It will also add the Camera Matching color profile for supported Olympus MFT and XZ-series cameras.

Current Lightroom users can upgrade their software by downloading the latest build on these links (Windows/Mac) or through the app itself (Help > Check for Update). The ACR update, on the other hand, can only upgrade to the latest build through the Adobe Updater tool.

    Adobe makes it so you need to have Adobe CC or CS6 to update your ACR though! UGH!…
