LG Prada 3.0 getting Ice Cream Sandwich update

The roll-out of the ICS update for LG’s fashion-inspired smartphone, the LG Prada 3.0, has already started last week with Germany and Italy getting it first.

A global update is to be expected this coming weeks but it’s not going to be an OTA update. The update will have to be done through your computer with LG Mobile Phone Support tool.

Besides the usual enhancements that ICS brings to the table, Prada users won’t exactly feel too much of a difference in their phone in terms of its functionality. Nevertheless a small upgrade is always better nothing.

The Prada 3.0 was a really good competitor to the likes of the Galaxy S2, only that it came a bit too late. You can read our full review of the LG Prada 3.0 here.

This post was written way back July. Has there been any update now to upgrade from Gingerbread to ICS? Thanks
