Plants VS Zombies sequel: It’s About Time!

I think we can all agree that it’s probably about time for the much loved Plants VS Zombies to have a sequel, right? Well, it seems that Electronic Arts also feels the same way and have already spiced things up a bit in preparation of the highly anticipated release which is rumored to be due next month.

pvz petal of honor

Above is just one of the teaser photos uploaded by the game devs on their Twitter account. If you’re a gamer, you’ll immediately pick up the humor here. But for the benefit of those who don’t, that’s actually a parody of one of EA’s first-person-shooting game called Medal of Honor. And as the old TV Shopping Channel adage says, “But wait, there’s more…”

pvz garden warfare
A parody of Mass Effect, one of the popular role playing games published by EA.

pvz dead face
Here’s another one which is a parody of Dead Space.

We’re not exactly sure if these renders are plainly intended for spoof or the game dev is planning to incorporate some of the features of the games mentioned above in the PVZ sequel. If we’re fortunate enough, we won’t have to wonder any longer as the game is speculated to make its debut on this year’s E3 convention. For now, here’s a quick preview on what EA has in store for the upcoming release:

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is weirdly amazing
Plants vs. Zombies 2 coming to Android
Appdate: PVZ 2 & Dead Trigger 2 now out for Android

I’ll surely be looking forward to this.

Whats nice about this is the wordplay and the purpose of the title “It’s about time”. Nice humor

I expect more depth into this game, kinda like playing Chess…yippeeee..I can’t wait!!!

    Freemium games = Massive Rip-off

    • Benjake says:

Lol di naman kaya gaanong kahirap ang real racing 3 :)))) level 47 w/o spending a single peso pa iyan

  5. profane says:

Nice to see Plants vs. Zombies getting a sequel but I won’t trust EA again after that SimCity fiasco they made. EA don’t give a damn about it consumers, they only care about money.

    • abuzalzal says:

They don’t get the title ”One of the worst companies/corporations in the United states” for nothing…they must be pretty good at ripping people off

  6. Unquestionably consider that which you said. Your favourite reason appeared to be on the internet the easiest thing to understand of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while other people consider concerns that they plainly don’t realize about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and outlined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be again to get more. Thanks
