Following the release of the Jellybean update for the Xperia S, SL, and Acro S earlier this month, Sony has finally released the Jellybean firmware for the one-year old Xperia ion.
The 4.1.2 Jellybean firmware is currently for Xperia ion units with build number 6.2.B.0.211 and will arrive via the Sony PC Companion for Windows or Sony Bridge for Mac.
There’s no official changelog yet but if you managed to get the update do share your experience with us. Do note that the arrival of the update will also depend on region so just wait a little more if it hasn’t arrived yet for your device.
