Since the iPhone 5 is already out in the gray market, we managed to get a nano-SIM from a Globe Store a couple of days ago. Smart still doesn't sell any nano-SIM so we had to cut a micro-SIM to be able to try it on the iPhone 5. So we bought a SmartBro micro-SIM for Php150 and tried to cut it down into the nano-SIM size. The final remaining SIM will actually be a little smaller than the actual nano-SIM. This should work just fine if you have a Smart postpaid account and they can't sell you a nano-SIM yet. A couple of weeks ago, Globe mentioned that they will start selling the nano-SIM this month. True enough, the prepaid nano-SIMs are now available in select Globe stores nationwide. For the meantime, only the prepaid nano-SIMs are being sold by Globe in their stores.
