Xperia users who have been waiting for the Ice Cream Sandwich treatment for their smartphones may now get their hopes up as Sony finally started rolling out the ICS update for their 2011 Xperia lineup. Units to follow are the Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman which will have their ICS fix starting from end of May or early June of this year. We will be keeping track of the rollout and will update you once ICS for Xperia reaches the Philippines. Sony has been taking it's time to get its own netbook out in the market and at the same time, criticizing other manufacturers for a mediocre product. Sony finally lent me one of their limited Sony Vaio P to test out for a week. Got first dibs on the new Sony-Ericsson Xperia X1 and I took tons of shots to share. Got to talk to the General Manager of Sony Ericsson Mobile this afternoon and asked some more questions about the launch of the Xperia X1.
