Thewunderdhog – Not really. I have a 499 plan as well along with a descent phone and tablet. I wouldn’t let myself be locked up for 24 months with that bundle. You are better off asking for a rebate which is around P273 or so. Can’t recall the exact amount though.

I chanced this tablet in the cloudfone kiosk in starmall edsa, and got to play with it a bit… one glaring observation is that it just seems to be a blown up laggy ics phone. Note that i daid phone… it is because for some odd reason, the tablet icons and keyboard are ridiculously big… very far from how an tablet optimized abdroid interface looks like. I would even say that you are better off with a cheaper china android tab… :(

Well, for cases like mine, I only need the plan 499 itself since I have a decent phone, so having these as free makes it a good deal.
