Okay, I think I spoke too soon. Just got this press release from Globe that they renamed their 3G internet service to Globe Broadband Tattoo.
Globe Broadband Tattoo, formerly known as Globe Visibility, uses a USB stick that works as a modem (more like a re-brand of Globe Visibility). Globe has also upgraded their network so users can get speeds of up to 2 Mbps.
Globe redesigned Globe Broadband Tattoo with some funky designs featuring artworks in black, orange, or blue.
The Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid Kit comes with a free Php100 load that is equivalent to five hours of free internet usage. Users still pay only Php5 per fifteen minutes with multiple connections.
Once users have consumed their free load, reloading the Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid SIM can be loaded like a regular prepaid SIM, whether through Share-A-Load, Globe Load or prepaid call cards.
Users may also opt for a postpaid plan for Globe Broadband Tattoo; there is a range of plans for as low as Php799/month with 60 free mobile internet hours.
Aside from using Globe Broadband Tattoo as a mobile Internet modem, the SIM card inside the USB can also be used for calls and sending text messages at regular cellphone rates. The USB also comes with a built-in expansion slot where users can insert their own microSD card for additional file storage.
The new Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid Kit is sold for only Php1,895.

actually kakabili lang ng bf ko ng globe tattoo para makapag usap kami online kahit pano..nag ipon sya para lang sa wala..mabagal ang conncetion at talagang waste of time and load..hope globe can resolve this..buti nga bumaba value 895..kaya cguro mababa eh dahil sa di maganda at maraming bad comments about this services..

I’m planning to try the unlimited plan of globe tattoo, but I’m having doubts thanks to the infamous sucky service of globe broadband. I’m usually on the go so a wired connection won’t do, I really need a plug-in internet service, unlimited one.
Unfortunately SmartBRO’s unlimited service is still unvailable, they said “maybe next month”, but those maybes lasts like a year or so.
Any info would be very helpful.
adikk talaga ang globe bomba!! im trying to finish my thesis by using internet for searching some ideas, that’s why nag paconnect kami sa globe broadband and u know what 1 week palang naga2mit shutdown nadaw connection,kada call mo sa hotline ulit ulit ang sinasabi nila..i trust globe but heyyy globe wake up!!asan ang word of honor nyo sa mga customer nyo, pa terminate kaman x2 pa babayaran, kaw na na abala kaw pa ang mananagutan..hayyy nakuuuuuu..globe please wag nyo paasahin mga subcriber nyo.kilos agad!!!!!!
i have this and want to throw this tattoo. very unstable signal despite that were near to globe.. haller.. my friend staying at globe twers and guess what signal is not that stable globe cs cant help either.one thing walang kwenta ang globe when it come to internet services like this.. wag na nila sana lokohin ang mga tao nakakainis kasi yung mga advertisement nila eh.. sinungaling sila.. use sun instead.
Crappy service! Someone from Globe as he claims tried to reach me through my review post. I’d say it’s just a lousy save-face act.
to get even with globe, you can have your tattoo modems unlocked so you can use sim cards from other network. hopefully they can give you a better and more stable hsdpa signal. once you have that, install cproxy application so you can browse the internet even with zero load balance

Globe tattoo really sucks…iv been suffering from a very weak signal for months now…when i tried to call their customer service representatives it got worst…their CSR’s cant help you resolve your problem…its just like talkng to idiots….they will promise you alot of things that like this and like that will happen within 24 hrs or within 3-5 working days but then you will just wait for nothing…this globe tattoo is a shame…!
I was also fooled by this globe tattoo. Even postpaid is very slow at 1-30kbps only. Now I have to suffer for 2 years to terminate the contract or I shall pay 10,000 for that useless gadget!

Don’t waste your money buying this Tattoo because it sucks… My location is in Makati and how come I am connected (meaning consuming my load)but the download speed is 0.46kbps. I experienced this now once but so many times. Now they are telling that its up to 2mbps.
I was planning to purchase the globe broadband tattoo pero sa nabasa ko na mga negative feedbacks, I guess I’ll just stick to dsl na lang.
