Okay, I think I spoke too soon. Just got this press release from Globe that they renamed their 3G internet service to Globe Broadband Tattoo.
Globe Broadband Tattoo, formerly known as Globe Visibility, uses a USB stick that works as a modem (more like a re-brand of Globe Visibility). Globe has also upgraded their network so users can get speeds of up to 2 Mbps.
Globe redesigned Globe Broadband Tattoo with some funky designs featuring artworks in black, orange, or blue.
The Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid Kit comes with a free Php100 load that is equivalent to five hours of free internet usage. Users still pay only Php5 per fifteen minutes with multiple connections.
Once users have consumed their free load, reloading the Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid SIM can be loaded like a regular prepaid SIM, whether through Share-A-Load, Globe Load or prepaid call cards.
Users may also opt for a postpaid plan for Globe Broadband Tattoo; there is a range of plans for as low as Php799/month with 60 free mobile internet hours.
Aside from using Globe Broadband Tattoo as a mobile Internet modem, the SIM card inside the USB can also be used for calls and sending text messages at regular cellphone rates. The USB also comes with a built-in expansion slot where users can insert their own microSD card for additional file storage.
The new Globe Broadband Tattoo Prepaid Kit is sold for only Php1,895.

Globe broadband can be considered very good in providing internet service if it can provide good service whether you’re near their towers or not. It is very unfair that they’re earning a lot from people who pay to use their service but they do not care to improve their ways of providing service to people. Customer service lines should be the first to show appreciation to customers. instead of dropping the call or hanging up from chat support,they should be more responsible.People give feedback to improve the company,they also need to provide good service to prepaid users.How I wish that Better Business is here to address this concern like in the US. Connections failed all the time when you paid for unlimited service.it can’t even support a simple video calling!

Just a comment from The Globe Tatoo! Walang kwebta talaga ang service nila! Im using Supersurf na promo nila sulit sana pero May Limitation pala ang Bandwidth for downloading! Di naman nila sinasabi sa mga tao! You still have to read pa sa terms and conditions na sobra ang haba! Its useless to call it Supersurf! Kaya walang kwenta. Mag DSL nalang kayo.

Ano ba to im using usb prepaid meron na akong smartbro,globe tatoo,ngayon naman iniisip kung bumili ng sun ano ba talaga hindi talag reliable tong mga to when it comes downloading pero wla akong choice kailangan ko ng internet connection.ano ba talag pwde maka improve nito kahit andito naman ako ng metro manila bakit ganito serbisyo ng prepaid?kunin nila mona pera mo saka ka ka bigyan ng sakit ng ulo sa internet connection,Hahay kahit mesenger ng yahoo lang at skype halos hindi makuha ng conection lalo ng pag nag torrent.Naku sana may makatulong anong dapat pang seeting nito.
My residence is Pleasantville Subd., Tolingon, Isabel, Leyte. In front of my house, a globe cell site or tower was built almost a year (150 meters away approximate). My child (high school) will travel 10 kilometers to the Isabel town proper to have an internet for their research/ school assignment. For information, globe telephone in our area is wireleess. Thats why I opted to buy a tatoo USB stick. But the signal avaible on that site is only GPRS, thats loading & uploading of my tatoo stick is very slow. In this matter, Can Globe management install a WCDMA hardware for that site so that I can admire the 2mbs speed of my tatoo stick. In barangay Tolingon, students and professional are now “cyber age” minded which your WCDMA signal on the said area can help a lot.

select nyo yung signal speed 3 yon 150 54 at 11mbps pag masyado malayo sa site dapat 150 at 54mbps para may repeater. pag medyo malapit 54 at 11mbps lang pag sobra lapit 11mbps lang.ang signal kasi di stable lalo pag marami gumagamit di naman humihina yon pumapaling lang sa ibang site kahit 1000 computer pa ang nka online.
Oh my.. ive had enough of reading the same thing about these broadband USB’s.. I just purchased Glpbe Tattoo broadband and damn it, im not just stunned with the convinience i saw in AdS (adding the fact that SARAH G. romotes Tattoo)… The real thing is, the service is not good.. not just “not good” but hell!
