Globe offers free access to WhatsApp to subscribers

Globe Telecoms formally announced that it has teamed up with WhatsApp to bring subscribers, both on prepaid and postpaid subscriptions, access to the popular instant messaging platform without eating up their data allocation.

In their press release, Globe Telecoms stated that the free WhatsApp access will commence on April 30 and will be available for all Globe subscribers.

Access to the instant messaging platform will be free of charge for prepaid users who enrolled to any of the Ayala-owned telco’s subscription-based promos like GoUnli and GoSurf.

Postpaid subscribers will also get the same treatment, as well as those who are subscribed to the Globe myLifestyle Plan.
