Lock-in period is probably 30 months (same as the GS III) which is why it’s cheaper than Globe’s.

smart always offers nice top tier phones. but based on my experience with their “unlimited” data offer, their internet speed is just plain horrible. you’ll just be frustrated with their sloowww and sporadic connections. imagine dial up modem speed – it’s that slow. to add insult to injury, you’re locked in for 24/30 months.

well, i’m a smart plan 2000 unlidata subscriber and i can say that the data service has improved a lot since habagat. i can get 1.5 to 7 mbps on speedtest.net using my note in ortigas center. but i guess it really still depends on where you use your device.

      ^using your note? wow…
speed really depends on where you use your note…

      hahaha

      joke

      @Chino..

    Just nitpicking…. :)

How could SMART call the data plan “UnLiData” when you’re limited to only 1.5GB/month?

Isn’t it supposed to be unlimited?

    • Avatar for Techjunkeez Techjunkeez says:

Yeah I was supposed to ask the same question.

    • Avatar for miongb miongb says:

You will get max speed until you reach 1.5gb per month. Beyond that, smart will throttle your speed, but you can still connect. So, unlimited pa rin :-)

I have been a smart data plan 2k for more than 1.5 yrs now, and i can tell you that di naman strict yung pagthrottle ng speed . Many time ss th e past more than 1.5gb nako, pero fast pa rin internet connection.

    • Avatar for jose jose says:
