Smart Communications thought their Smart Wifi brand is knee deep in the mud right now that the best thing to remedy the bad publicity is to re-name it. So, they came up with Smart Bro (is that a shortcut for broadband?)
They did some clean-up and even remove pages from their official site which mentioned Smart Wifi. Too bad that page is already #1 on Google, Yahoo and MSN for the term “smart wifi”. (I suppose my blog will take over that spot, eh?)
Migs pointed out that that Smart Bro is also a browser and a few days after the switch, Smart’s pages are already in the front page for the keyword. (I’m hoping this page will be somewhere near in the next couple of days.)
PLDT’s myDSL-w has also been consolidated under this single brand name. Subscribers comment that there’s really nothing new in terms of service improvements — just pure PR and bundling of services.

The subscription plan did change to Php999/month, which is more expensive than the old one.

so far as far as i know ….compare to dial up 7x faster ang smartbro…uy mga dude i am not related nor connected sa smart….so far 7 ang naka smart dito sa kapitbahay ko.and wala namn sila reklamo….pag nawalan ng connection sure un ..service mentainance to improve the service,,,,and i have a feedback that i heard from 1 of the employee talking one time when i drop by the smart wireless …. that smart having their metainance and still on the processs of upgarding thier system and soon yung smart bro bigla na lang tataas ang speed…tsaka take note.. i want to agree na nung smart wifi pa sya and my dsl w….oo a lot of bad feedback to be heard.. pero nung nag smartbro na ,,,hu! mas madami ang good crirtizsm…syempre sa site na to nag sama sama ang mga subs na di satisfied sa service ,,pero what if theres a site na pwede mag comment yung satisfied ,, siguro the volume is larger than the bad feedback that ive read here..

hmMM…kanina lang ako 2 nag pakabit.. well the speed… OK na OK… kaso nawawala… gumamit ako ng timer.. its a span of 10-12 mins bago mawala.. 3 tyms ko kinonduct ung test.. then babalik xa after a minute or so… this myt be due to the pulse of the signal.. na nwaawala every 10-12mins.. then resumes.. xe di pa naman ganun ka perfect ang wifi eh.. nyweiz.. kea lang maganda ang Globelines is konte lang agn users.. pero pag dumami din yan ewan ko lang… hahah… but its worth tryin.. 2500 lang naman installation eh…:D… anyweiz.. di man ako mka pag ran im still satisfied wit my connection.. heheh..:D

nako wag na wag kayong magpa2kabit sa peste na bro na yan kng meron available jan na DSL mas mabuti pang mag DSL na lng kau, wag kau maniwala sa mga advertisement niyan sa TV kaya ina-advertise kc bulok, e2 naging problem ko sa demonyo at satanas na smart hambog na yan, i have internet cafe dati connected ako sa dsl ng digitel wow wala akong naging problema ok sya online games, internet browsing ang bilis di syempre dami ako client tapos sa kasamaang palad dumating si bagyong reming nasira line ng digitel hanggang ngayon di pa narestore lahat tapos no choice ako nag-try ako ki smartbro plan 999/384 kbps ang una kung ginawa nag- speedtest ako aha! 384 pala yong hambog ha e2 result:
nagtest ako 6:00am 189 kbps
test nmn ako ng 1pm 32-29 minsan 26 kbps
test ulit ako 12 midnight 107-122 kbps
ang sumatotal ibig sabihin mga 256kps lng ang smartbro at sa ngayon nagka-peste peste internet ko almost 3 weeks ng putol putol ilang besis na kong 2mawag sa CSR pero ala nangyari, eto pa ang bagal sa browsing at walang kwenta sa mga online games. eto mga online games ko:

dati gumagana lahat ng yan nong DSL pa ko ngayon ang puta smart utot halos lahat ng online games ko wla na kwenta, so lugi na ako dahil sa SMART PUWET. kaya bago kau matulad sa sakin wag na kau magbalak mapakabit ng SMART OTOT. e2 pa additional share ko about dsl bago ako lumipat sa digitel dati na akong subscriber ng bayantel 512kbps so i used this link to test my speed http://speed.skyinet.net ang pinakamataas na speed na test ko sa bayantel ay 510-500kbps biruin nyo bilis diba? d tulad sa SMART OTOT puro hangin at advertisement kng sino pa yong bihira magpa-advertise siya pa ang pinakamaganda. Sa simula lng ang smartbro mga ilng bwan jan na nila kayo peperwesyohin. malapit na ma restore dsl samin balik lng ako to share my experience here.
