Smart drops iPhone 4S price, free at UnliData Plan 2000

It’s during this time of the year when we see telcos start pushing the sales of the iPhone as an anticipation to the announcement of the next one. Smart is acting this early by dropping the offerings for the iPhone 4S.

The original price plan for the iPhone 4S on UnliData Plan 2000 is Php2,500 cash-out.

Just recently, they’ve dropped the cash-out price and giving it free at UnliData 2000.

It’s not a huge drop but that move could also push the postpaid sales of the iPhone 4S in their network. And considering there are a couple other alternatives that are free at Unli Data Plan 2000 (Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X), the iPhone 4S needs a little bump.

We’re already expecting the iPhone 5 to be announced in September and we know Smart has ordered thousands (25,000 to be precise) of iPhone 4S last year so it’s time to empty the inventory.

because of the complexity and creativeness of android. ow just read this http://www.yugatech.com/curious/should-i-stay-with-ios-or-shift-to-android/ may be this will lighten up your knowledge a bit about how Android differs from iOS

I don’t read a lot I’m sorry. I heard Android’s apps are crappy as hell. They don’t have a strong ecosystem. Most people say that the Android OS is fragmented. Developers are having a hard time developing for Android because of this fragmentation (2.1, 2.2., 2.3, 4.0, 4.1). Compare that to Apple’s iOS. Almost all iOS devices in the wild are already on iOS 5.

This is also one of the reasons why developers prefer developing for Apple. More developers = more apps. More apps = more happy users.

And oh, you mentioned creativeness? Or do you mean copying? :) Just look at those Android phones. They all look the same. Android manufacturers are trying hard to make their phones look like iPhones.
