Smart’s unlimited LTE service expired last March 31, 2014 but in an official tweet posted by @SmartCares, the telco has one again extended the promo to September 30, 2014.
Smart’s official Twitter channel has been responding to subscribers regarding the unli-LTE promo since yesterday.
@whereswalle Hi. Yes, free unlimited #SmartLTE service is extended until September 30, 2014. Thank you. :)

Smart has been extending this deadline repeatedly for about two years now, a smart move to provide added value to subscribers without really committing to the “unlimited” offer.
F240s Korean LG g pro.. Does smart’s LTE. SIM work in this device? Thanks
Yo, yes prepaid LTE sim for smart works foe f240s korean lg g pro dude… tried it out.. lakas…
just registered to LTE 299 an hour before (succesful by the way) didn’t realize that the promo was supposed to end today XD
I am using a prepaid LTE sim, i tried to register LTE 995 and sending to 2200 today and a reply text indicated that the promo has already ended. has anyone tried to register? How do i register?
Hope someone can help. Thank you!
Check the tags. They deliberately tag their April Fools articles with April Fools Day tags. This doesn’t have one, so it’s legit. That, and they embedded the actual tweet from a Twitter-verified account, so yeap.
Yay! Thanks Smart hope this isn’t a hoax. Good choice talaga ang Smart buti nag switch ako ng network immediately after my contract expired sa Globe. #LiveMore
I hope this isn’t an April Fool’s Joke. That would be just cruel. ;)
ang hirap maniwala ng mga balita ngayon kasi efrel fuls deh
Good job Smart!
Useless naman kung meron kang lte capable phone pero mahina naman signal sa inyo ng lte at di ka makalagpas man lng ng 3mbps.
Mag roll out pa sila ng maraming lte hotspot!! Para marami na makaka experience ng lte nila up to 42 mbps daw
Its too bad they keep destroying the sim cards by “misalign” them or removing the LTE provisioning constantly. Its annoying, and highly un reliable
Teka, april fools article din ba to? :D
