I am a globe internet user and smart internet user but this year i am quite disappointed with smart. I am not satisfied with their new promo which is Surfmax. i Have registered SURFMAX995 and honestly IT SUCKS BIG TIME. I HATE THE LIMIT. I used to subscribe LTE995 which was way more efficient and fast. if this is their idea of beating telstra then i think they are going to lose. if ever an official announcement about telstra finally releasing. I will not hesistate to throw my smartbro and change it.Hopefully if they ever upgrade their system then i would still gladly use smart. Just sharing my Opinion about the smart surfmax promos.

Surfmax for smart POSTPAID also has a 1GB cap/day.

1/3 Welcome to SURFMAX 995! Surf all day up to 1GB/day for 30 days. SURFMAX is covered by our usage guidelines to ensure quality of service to all subscribers.

Yup its capped at 800 MB for SURFMAXPLUS50 (Smart Buddy LTE). I’m not sure if it’s the same for the other variants. But you can register as many times as you wish to increase the data limit and expiration exponentially. That is the only major difference.

How about LTE50? Wala na rin po ba? No capping kasi un.

Dapat ang Smart umayos kayo ng service nyo. Sana un papasok na mag invest sa Pinas next year kalaban ng smart, sun at globe lagot kayo mas maganda at mabilis ang internet nila.

What’s the difference between this and LTE 995?

Postpaid and subscribed to LTE 995, wala na din ang LTE 995. I had mine renewed until late November, after nung Surfmax na daw ako dapat mag-register. Yung FA-Q nila, kulang ng info tungkol sa data cap.

they are not telling us about the throttling and capping … scammers bs !!!

LTE is capped at 2mbps and the HSPA+ is capped at .5mbps here in Cebu. DO NOT BUY.

Globe however, though not unlimited, gives you 10mbps speed in LTE and 3mbps for HSPA+ and FREE access to their LTE network with the Internet.org unlike Smart where you need to register their LTE package to ACCESS it and even you did, the coverage is VERY small.

I suddenly lost my Smart Prepaid Internet Connection in my SmartBro Pocket Wifi. Haaaaay…..

So it’s just UnliSurf and UnliLTE combined into SurfMax? Well I guess it’s better for the Prepaid subscribers. We can’t access 200 or 250 php for 5 or 7 days respectively. It can only be accessed by a Smart BRO sim.

Yes! And I want you read that post to avoid being scammed by Smart’s Flexitime.

    • Avatar for Wehehe Wehehe says:

I use flexitime200 every day off. Di ko pa naranasan yan, sana wag mangyari sakin. I use the same set up, a lte pocket wifi with smartbro sim and a smart buddy sim na nagpapasa load ng flexi200 papunta sa smartbro. Kung minsan di ko talaga kayang ubusin ang 30hrs , kaya may natitira pa for next week.

    • Avatar for deuts deuts says:

Good for you! Sana nga hindi mo na maranasan kapalpakan ng Smart Bro Flexitime
