Smart has just announced that their own nano-SIM cards are now available in stores for only Php40 (for the prepaid SIM).
While no official handset offered by Smart uses a nano-SIM, the about-to-be-released iPhone 5 does.

For postpaid subscribers, Smart is offering a nano-SIM replacement for free.

What technical issues might I encounter if I purchase an iPhone 5(factory unlocked) in US or Canada and use it here in the Philippines? Will I still be able to use in Smart’s LTE?
