Sun intros cheapest Unlimited Text at Php200/month

For only Php200 a month, Sun Cellular is offering subscribers unlimited SMS within their network (with Sun Power Text Unlimited 200), probably the cheapest unli-text we’ve seen locally.

On top of the unli-text, Sun Cellular included 4 hours of Sun-to-Sun calls and additional 500 free SMS to all other networks.

To activate the promo, just text TU 200 to 247 on your Sun SIM. Promo ends on October 31, 2011.

Update: Sun currently offers a prepaid card at Php150 for unlimited Sun-to-Sun text for 30 days with 4 hours free Sun calls. This new Text Unlimited 200 variant is deductible from your Sun load and includes 500 SMS to other networks.

Though the Php150 Text Unlimited Prepaid card is technically cheaper, the Text Unlimited 200 is more reasonable since you get that 500 additional SMS to other networks.

look, andyan pa rin ang 150 unli text plus 4 hrs call. hindi yun tinanggal. eto, same sa 150 instead may additional 500 text. its an option. puro nalang reklamo pinoy. its a very good offer really. 10 cents per text sa additional 50 pesos mo. i can see no reason to hate it, unless meron ang globe and smart nyan, which is wala.
thats a very good deal.. :D

meron pang masmura dyan na unlimited txt offer for 1 month, nag-offer ay ang RED Mobile, 120php/month na unlimited text within same network, wala nga lang call at txt to other network, pero kng ang pag-uusapan ay “cheapest” unlimited txting for 1 month, tingin ko ay ang RED ang panalo.

sulit sya until now 200+ pa rin free text to other networks (means excluding SUN) nakapag-text blast na ako within the month di ko pa rin sya maubos…

and about the PLDT-Digitel merger for what I know hindi matutuloy unless may NTC approval

yan ang nangyari dahil sa ang PLDT na ang may ari sa SUN ang dating 150 per month TU and 4 hours calls ngayon ay 200 na… next month 300 na yan…

e bobo ka pala. intindihin mo binabasa mo, in-explain na nga ni yuga na iba to. andyan pa rin ang dating 150 per month. eto may 500 sms to other networks. sulit din to, dahil lalabas na 10 centavos per text lang lalabas yun.

Hmm..don’t know if I read an article right, pero regarding po sa nabasa ko na article, hindi na daw po natuloy ang pag purchase ng PLDT sa Sun(Digetel) kasi hindi po ito inaprove ng NTC. nabasa ko po ito sa GMA News..I’ll give you a link once I found it again. And correct me if I’m wrong..just my idea..
