Just got an email invitation from Friendster Ads (FADS) with a free credit of Php50 which is equivalent to 625 ad impressions. Though I don’t remember signing up for a beta tester, I do remember visiting the site before when I blogged about FADs at PTB last January.

Anyway, the signup was a breeze and the ad posting wizard was easy. Since I’m only familiar with how the Google AdWords process works, FADs did not have the same “link to” option which was a little weird. There’s practically nothing to click on the ad.
I sent several queries thru their system to clear this up since there’s no way to edit my posted ad once it’s been sent for approval.
More on this at PTB, once I do a complete review.

Thanks for the mini-review thus far.
Let me know how we can further improve the system for Filipino consumption.
Thanks for the additional credits, Terence.
[...] I had some problems using it the first time because I didn’t know how to format the ads like adding links and such. You can’t insert anchor text so you’ll just have to paste the entire URL to be clickable. (I would have liked the entire ad to be clickable though.) [...]
