Multiply Inc. is scouting for a GM (General Manager) for the Philippines, according to a source, and is also looking to form a dedicated group to run local operations.
Multiply Philippines opened up shop in June 2008, about 6 months after local TV network ABS-CBN bought a 5% stake into the company.
The partnership with ABS-CBN Interactive involves a multi-year advertising and revenue-sharing agreement. It’s possible that agreement has now expired and Multiply wants to get a dedicated team to run local operations.
Based on the requirements, it looks like this is the first time Multiply is getting an official local representation with the GM and the entire operations team.

The position will be based in Manila. You will be responsible for all aspects of our operations in the Philippines. In September 22, 2010, The Myriad International Holdings United of Naspers Limited (NPN-JSE) has acquired a controlling interest in Multiply. Naspers is a South Africa-based multinational media company with principal operations in electronic media.
