Pornhub, the world’s largest porn site with an average daily visitors of 35 million, has recently published their statistics on porn viewership in the Philippines for 2013.
According to Pornhub Insights, the Philippines ranked 26th in worldwide traffic to the popular porn site but ranked a solid 15th when it comes to mobile traffic.
The site also provided insights into the Filipinos’ porn-viewing habits:
- Filipinos like watching porn late at night between 11pm to 1am.
- Mobile users generally spend more time on Pornhub than their PC counterparts.
- On average, Filipinos will visit around 9 pages in a little over 13 minutes.
- Two of the top searched terms across all devices are “pinay” and “Filipina”, followed by “Japanese” and “teens”.
- 53% still use a desktop when visiting Pornhub. 37% of the traffic comes from various mobile devices while 10% are from tablets.
- Windows Desktop is the most popular platform (49.9%) of choice, followed by Android mobile (21.9%) and iOS tablets (8%).

Sex is such a big deal in this country which tantamounts to malice on a high degree because we are so restrained. If only were more open about it, just like our European counterparts where nudity is even encouraged in certain communities. Alot may beg to differ but I know a thing or two not because I was raised in a conservative Catholic home but through my peers. I’m ashamed to admit that I still blush whenever the subject is opened and to think I’m old enough to have my own family. That reason alone is why I can’t blame those who resort to pornography just to get off every chance they get and those figures doesn’t lie and who knows even more. I have mixed feelings about this article. On the one hand it shows the truth, for all the draconian laws we have in the land against pornography, people still view it anyway. Also it’s very good to quote your sources. But when your source is a porn site and you post a direct link to said site, there should be some kind of a warning that it’s not for children.
