Take a selfie after buying from a vending machine

All over the internet, we see people take pictures whenever they purchase a product. Well, this upcoming vending machine in Japan might be their thing.

Kirin, a beverage company in Japan, is rolling out a “selfie” vending machine in collaboration with popular messaging app, Line. The vending machine will have an enormous LCD and a camera to take your snapshot. The selfie is free-of-charge every time you buy a drink. It will be then processed with a frame and background from Line. It’s just like a sticker picture booth at an arcade. Other brands might soon take advantage of this feature as a form of advertisement and a souvenir.

These vending machines are rolling-out all-over Japan this month with English, Chinese and Korean interface languages for tourists.

Those machines would not last long in the Philippines. Vandals would destroy them in a heartbeat.
