BOSEbuild: a build-it-yourself speaker for kids from Bose

Move over Lego and K’nex, Bose has a new toy for kids of modern age that could tickle their interest in building audio devices in the future.

bosebuild

The BOSEbuild is a new build-it-yourself category from the audio company and under it is their first product — Speaker Cube. Made out of high-quality materials, the easy to build speaker is a toy to play with. Its instructions will help kids discover how a speaker works. A free companion app will do the coaching through a step-by-step guide with interaction confirming the success of the build.

Every speaker can be customized by adding colored lights and silhouette covers. Also, there’s Bluetooth connectivity to pair with a smartphone or tablet for music streaming as a reward after building a working speaker.

The BOSEbuild Speaker Cube is now available at build.bose.com for $149 or roughly Php7k in local currency. It’s intended for kids 8 y.o. and older — that includes adults who wanted to play as well.
