Covering CES 2008, remotely…

CES 2008 (Consumer Electronics Show) is just around the corner. It’s been a dream for me to cover this kind of global tech event. Since I cannot do that now, I’m doing the next best thing.

We’re covering the CES in here and over at PTB, remotely. We’re doing a partnership with Groove Philippines to get us the juiciest scoops with original pictures and videos to boot. I have special interest in digital imaging, wifi, gaming and emerging technology.

With 2,679 exhibitors in the show, I’m sure we’d get you some interesting finds. Watch for them here in the next couple of days.

P.S. Read somewhere that aside from the Press Lounge (which are open to the press and bloggers), there will be another room for Bloggers Lounge (only bloggers allowed) at the CES.

Where in Vegas? I’m from Cali. I haven’t attend this kind of event yet. Also when? Any more details?

Jan. 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and other nearby buildings. But i think it’s an invitation-only event, is it?

  5. Kiven says:

Yep, covering it remotely doesn’t diminish such announcements such as Alienware’s spacey curved gaming monitor. w00t.
