Parrot has introduced a new aerial drone that sports a new look, a 14 megapixel fisheye camera, 3-axis stabilization, and First Person View (FPV) glasses support – the Bebop Drone.

In addition to the features listed above, the Bebop can be controlled using the Parrot Skycontroller which equips your smartphone or tablet with two physical joysticks and extends your WiFi range from 300 meters up to an impressive 2 kilometers. The controller also supports First Person View (FPV) glasses like the Oculus Rift and Sony’s Project Morpheus for an immersive aerial viewing experience.
The Parrot Bebop Drone is scheduled to ship in the U.S. in Q4 2014. Pricing is TBA.

The Parrot Bebop Drone looks impressive. Now if they would just make one that would have a live video feed and a AGM-114 Hellfire missile we would be on an equal footing with the U.S.government.
