Sony SmartWatch lands next month at Php5,999.99

Announced on their FB page, Sony will be unveiling their second take on a fancy watch in the form of SmartWatch. Much like the first one, it does more than tell you want time it is.

This accessory has been available in the international market earlier this month but it’s just now that the company will be releasing it locally.

Not much has changed from its predecessor Sony Live View, so we suggest you to read our short review/intro of Live View to give you the gist of how a SmartWatch works.

It said to be available here by August and would retail at Php5,999.99 apiece which is double the price of its predecessor (see our review of the 1st-gen Sony Live View Smart Watch here). Will this be a worthy accessory at that price point? We’ll see. Catch our full review as soon as we get our hands on one of these.

What I heard is that Sony Smart watch has a lot of disadvantages:
    1. Can’t see phone display on direct sunlight.
    2. Not waterproof (dont wear when raining)
    3. Connection problem w/ other phone brands

Motoactv will ve available soon in widget city, which I assume is better. But then again, maybe i am bias. :)

I haven’t got anyone of them, but I might have motoactv. ;)

I hope soon, you’ll have motoactv for review, and have a head to head comparison with live view. I think that would be great! :D

I don’t have a Sony Phone or Android Phone… This watch is useless for me…I still prefer Ipod Nano 6th gen. :)
