Wenger SwissGear Laptop Backpack

Been looking for a new laptop bag which I can use on a daily basis and finally last week, found the ideal one from Wenger. I was initially looking at a messenger-type laptop bag but since I’ve been traveling a lot lately, I thought I should consider laptop backpacks as well.

I wanted something roomy but small enough to carry around and has a lot of compartments for my gadgets — 1 or 2 laptops, 1 tablet, at least 3 smartphones, a point-and-shoot camera, a couple of SD and CF cards, a couple of portable battery packs, MyFi, sunglasses, iPod Touch, earphones, portable HDD, Bluetooth mouse.

This specific model has 4 compartments — the biggest one is for the laptop and tablet, the second one could be for clothes but has a pocket for a music player or iPod which you can attach to an earphone that snakes out the bag thru a special sealed hole.

The third compartment is for accessories — phones, camera and other smaller accessories. It’s got a lot of smaller compartments and zippers for smaller items like flash drives and USB dongles.

The last one is out in front and the smallest of the four. It also zips vertically which allows easy access to the most-often used items in the bag.

There’s a bottle holder on the left side and another zipped-up container on the right side. I still feel there’s not enough smaller pockets inside the bag but for the most part, I’m well satisfied with my purchase. This on sells for about Php3,995 in stores. There was another cheaper model at Php3,300 with orange accents but it did not have the laptop pocket included.
