Wilson to launch app-enabled smart basketball

Sporting goods and equipment manufacturer, Wilson, in partnership with Finnish AI firm SportIQ, has announced that it will soon launch a smart basketball that can monitor your performance in the court.

Wilson’s smart basketball has built-in sensors and connects to your smartphone through an app. The sensors will then collect performance data like shots made or missed, how long it takes you to take a shot, and where you usually take your shots.

The app will then curate those data and display them on your smartphone to help you monitor your progress and improve your game.

The Wilson smart basketball is set to launch in the U.S. by the end of the year.

My team and I are pushing to revolutionize Basketball through a new Social Platform in app form and through our website. Please help support us through our Kickstarter Campaign which will be launching November 2nd – http://ballinthe6.com/
