The coastal area is lined with many coconut trees. The northern part of it offers a view of the Patapat National Park, a highway that passes through the coastal mountains of cordillera. At the top of the mountain, given a good weather condition, you can visibly spot the northern islands of Cagayan. The town of Pagudpud is where the Agua-Grande Hydro-Power Plant is situated where in other towns like Dumalneg, Bangui up to Burgos where their source of energy came from thru Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative
