Air travel time from Manila to Caticlan Airport by reliable scheduled commuter aircraft, Asian Spirit and SEAir, is about one 1 hour. From the airport to the Caticlan jetty port is a short hop of one-half kilometer by land cruisers. A native motorized outrigger boat servicing the resort exclusively takes you from the jetty port to the resort in about twenty 20 minutes. The primary domestic airlines such as Philippine Airline, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines, carry on several flights daily from Manila to the capital town of Kalibo, from where you can take an air-conditioned tour bus to Caticlan jetty port. The road trip from Kalibo is about two 2 hours over excellent roads. During peak travel season, Philippine Airlines operates shuttle flights from Cebu City-Mactan International Airport.

Transportation
On the island public transportation is mainly by tricycle (motorbike with sidecar). Tricycles for island trips can be rented through the resort’s Front Desk staff. Other means of transportation are mountain bikes and motorbikes. Motorbikes along the White Beach and the beach path are however forbidden by law.
Departure
If you take a flight from the Kalibo airport you should depart the island at least 4 hours before the scheduled flight while 2 hours for the Caticlan airport.
A tropical island to lose yourself in.
Amanpulo sits on Pamalican Island in the Philippines surrounded by turquoise waters and a coral reef three hundred meters from the shore. The island is surrounded by 5.5 km of white sand beach and coral reefs located 50-300 meters from the shore. The turquoise sea is crystal clear and excellent for swimming snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing and sailing. Amanpulo’s main building is the Clubhouse. The restaurant, located at one end of the Clubhouse, spills out into a poolside terrace for alfresco dining. Enjoy sea views from the Bar. The walls of the Clubhouse lounge are graced with panalongs, the roof-top wood sculptures favored by Mindanao Muslims. The rattan chairs, from Cebu, mix with inlaid coconut tables. The island’s weather is tropical with a dry season running from November to May and scattered rain showers from June to October.
