Sony 3D World is in the house!

As in, literally, in the house. Look at what greeted me in the living room when I got home this evening — it’s the complete Sony 3D World Set-up, a collection of Sony’s latest products for a total 3D entertainment.

The set incudes a 40-inch LED 3D TV (Bravia EX72), a PS3 console, Blu-Ray player and 3D glasses, PS Move and a number of 3D Blu-Ray movies and PS3 games.

The Sony crew came in this afternoon and set up the whole thing so all I needed to do when I got home was to watch some movies and play PS3.

Still familiarizing myself with the setup and it’s a good thing they wired everything for me already. The selection of movies and games are few but should be enough for me to play around with.

Will anybody hazard a guess as to how much this whole set-up costs? More on this once we get acquainted with the setup.

I’d be careful using my credit card or personal info with Sony products :)

are you talking about the playstation network outage that happened last may? yeah, it’s so horrible that sony waited a week after the hacker attack just to tell that they’re hacked.

so yeah, i can’t trust sony anymore because they handled the problem irresponsibly. they messed up with that one.

make.believe: This only means that Sony turned it’s head in recognition of Yugatech. Congrats. Excuse me, I’m drooling. I’m a big fan of the brand. LOL!!

It costs an arm and a leg locally, but I was able to buy a similar setup for $1500 via Amazon last year during their Black Friday sale. It included a 50″ 3D LED TV, 3D Blu-Ray player, 2 pairs of glasses, one 3D Blu-Ray movie.

Then about $300 for a PS3 with Move bundle if you know where and when to buy during promotional season.

The sound system won’t cost too much more.

Shipment to the Philippines cost me around $400 for everything, crated.

Wow! That’s so damn beautiful! I wish the sony just stop by my house and install that damn entertainment system without me knowing it and it is all for free. Yeah, wishful thinking.
