Sony Electronics has announced at CES 2017 two new 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) TVs that claims to deliver wide brightness range, higher contrast and spectacular picture quality – the flagship XBR-A1E BRAVIA OLED and XBR-X930E/X940E series.
Sony XBR-A1E BRAVIA OLED
Aside from the 4K HDR OLED display, one of the main features of the XBR-A1E is the Acoustic Surface sound technology which enables the entire screen to resonate sound. This allows Sony to drop conventional speakers usually located around the TV.

The BR-X930E/X940E TVs, on the other hand, features Slim Backlight Drive+ with a unique quad-edge LED structure for precise local dimming with improved brightness and deeper blacks. Like the XBR-A1E it supports HDR and runs Android TV.
