Canva opens office in Manila

Canva Manila officially announced its presence in the Philippines today in an intimate media launch here at The Fort. The 11-month old start-up was founded in Australia by a half-Filipina Melanie Perkins.

The start-up is now joined by Guy Kawasaki as their Chief Evangelist. Canva Manila started with 8 people in their Makati office but is looking to hire more than double that in the coming months.

The stock images and graphics are mostly free to use but some will require a $1 one-time royalty fee. You can check out Canva here.

  3. I am one of their first users and its just fancy using their application. People who are not born designers will look like photoshop pros when they learn how to use this.
