CBS giving 15 seconds to YouTubers

CBS Interactive is doing a TV campaign for YouTubers — If You Had 15 Seconds.

If you had 15 seconds to tell the world whatever you want to, what would you say? Well, now’s your chance to be seen and heard on national television, courtesy of CBS Interactive. Post your 15-second video on YouTube, and CBS Interactive will select one to be broadcast on TV! The first selection will air on Sunday, February 4, 2007.

Remember, if you want a chance at getting your video on TV, please keep it clean! And be sure to read the Official Rules.

Every two weeks CBS will select five videos from this page and post them on cbs.com. These videos will qualify to run on national television.

Already started last December 28, 2006. Here’s what you need to do to join.

Just check out all the 140 videos submitted so far. Take some creativity to get something across in 15 seconds. Go give it a try. ;)
