FeedBurner hack to pump RSS subscribers

So okay, the Feedburner RSS subscriber count has just lost its credibility. A video demo by the guys at Next Web shows you how to pump your Feedburner subscriber count to thousands overnight.

I guess that’s the way Feedburner counts RSS subscription. Anything is possible nowadays.

    Google should exclude the NETVIBE* i don’t know the spelling… the one that is really being manipulated.

    The opposite happened to me. I checked yesterday and it showed 0 subscribers. I was expecting at least one reader because I subscribe to my own feeds. :-(

    Honesty is still the best policy. Nonetheless, Feedburner should address the issue ASAP.

  5. we can also manipulate rss count reader via igoogle.
