MyBlogLog: bid goodbye to your animated avatars!

The official MyBlogLog blog has just announced that they are going to kill all animated avatars next Friday:

The animated gifs bug enough people that we’re getting rid of them. Next Friday we’re going to process all of the images and cut them down to a single, static frame. If you have an animated avatar or community image, you have one week to update it or face the wheel of chance.

LeonidasNow, now, where will all the fun be at MBL? Jonas, say goodbye to Leonidas. I will miss him as well. :D

  4. Is it the reason why there are IE7 JS errors on sites with MBL?

If it is, then I’m really sorry lolz… I reported the bug a days or a week ago :p

    there, there, jonas…
but you know, i wish you’d used a scene with leonidas and the only woman who should change his mind scene instead… but, i guess we’ll have to find another avenue for that! ;)

It was bound to happen. First users tried using avatars of half-naked women to attract attention and wasn’t contented with that and used animated avatars of half-naked women. LOL

Jonas’ avatar was okay, it was fun to look at. Hehe :D

  7. LOL, and I actually spent some time last night actually making my own customized animated avatar, haha. Sigh, darn… I’ve only got a few days to use it. Oh well.
