EYP’s Free Wifi Cards

e-yellowpages is giving away free wifi cards on all their hotspots across the metro. I got several cards here with me after we had dinner at Stars & Stripes at the Bluewave Mall along Macapagal Highway.

EYP Free Wifi

The back of the card says:

For a minimum purchase requirement of Php30 per single receipt, this card entitles you to Free WiFi access. Simply choose e-yellowpages free wifi from the wireless network list, then enter the username and password to avail yourself of internet access for 3 hours from this establishment.

The card expires 24 hours after first use.

Got wind of this eyp wifi a couple of months back while hanging out at Starbucks, Bluewave. It was actually really free then (no catch or promo) so I guess that was just preparation for this one.

Fine print indicates promo period is between October 2006 to October 2007. Hmmm, another wifi hotspot player, eh?

    Pretty cheap marketing for EYP.

Great they have a spot in Glorietta – off limits to Airborne Access subscribers.

Sweet! Now if only my laptop can last 3 hours without having to charge the battery.

Hehe, I wrote the script for the EYP wi-fi event launch in Metrowalk…one of my rakets=P (Sayang nga kasi they gave out a brand new laptop!)

They’re not really highlighting the wi-fi…they’re just using it to get you into the habit of using their e-yellowpages service=P

Anyway, you can enjoy it as well at the Metrowalk…pero mabagal daw yung connection if you’re in starbucks=P

I finally got to use one – Bellagio Square Tomas Morato, from Coffee Bean.

    And, I didn’t need the card – it’s open!

tried using eyp at gj in glorieta last 11/16/2007 but i cant seem to get to the login page. is it automatically loaded onto the browser when you try to surf? using firefox and none loaded automatically, even tried visiting eyp.ph but signal is only local and no internet. perhaps i should use ie or wifi may just be down when i tried using it? btw, free eyp wifi is extended til 2008 (cards have stickers with extension notice)
