Security Upgrade to WordPress 2.2.2 & 2.0.11

If you haven’t noticed yet, WordPress just released a new security upgrade. Version 2.2.2 and legacy branch 2.0.11 are out and ready for download. There are several bug fixes in this version and should be a really quick upgrade.

Here is the list of the modified files:

/wp-includes/formatting.php
/wp-includes/version.php
/wp-includes/general-template.php
/wp-includes/theme.php
/wp-includes/widgets.php
/wp-includes/functions.php
/wp-app.php
/xmlrpc.php
/wp-settings.php
/wp-admin/edit-comments.php
/wp-admin/admin-functions.php
/wp-admin/admin-db.php
/wp-admin/import/wordpress.php
/wp-admin/upload-functions.php
/wp-admin/link-import.php
/wp-admin/options.php

These are all the files you need to overwrite in your existing installation (i.e., if you are already running version 2.2.1).

Here’s a copy of the updated WP 2.2.2. files you can use to update your blogs.
