APN Settings for Globe, Smart, Sun Cellular

The following settings are applicable to Smart, Globe and Sun Cellular for their APN settings (Access Point Name). The settings should work with majority of smartphones in the market.

APN Settings for Globe

Postpaid APN: internet.globe.com.ph

Prepaid APN: http.globe.com.ph

APN Settings for Smart Bro

Postpaid APN: smartbro

Prepaid APN: smartbro

APN Settings for Smart Buddy, Smart Gold

APN: internet

APN Settings for Sun Cellular

Prepaid
APN (static): minternet
Authentication: PAP
IP address: dynamic

Postpaid
APN (static): fbband
Authentication: PAP
IP address: dynamic

APN Settings for PLDT WeRoam

Postpaid: WEROAMPLAN

Note: If you’re using a variety of postpaid or prepaid SIM cards in one dongle, make sure to create a Setting Profile for each SIM card so it’s easier to set the APN when switching SIM cards.

Leave all other settings blank or as is.

Zenfone 2 deluxe > Carrier = Sun Cellular > APN Settings = MINTERNET > not working
Texted 2300 = NET > says its active > followed by “device is not supported” > ask to manually set it up = done > nothing happened
Called Sun hotline to get the setup manually > was told that APN auto setup once sim is activated > which doesnt make sense > asking for a manual setup = dont know the actual setup aside from MINTERNET
Question:
– is this an issue with Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe or its just that this device is not a legit mobile phone in the Philippines?

i am using pldt weroam and the apn is internet. i just inserted the sim and all the settings are already there.

with sun (and i am postpaid) my apn is minternet.

both work, at least for me. hoping it works for you too.

if you are a prepaid sim user, you might need to call your telco first so they can enable 3g access to your number because by default, it is off.

iphone 2g as in yung first na iphone? or as in yung second gen which is iphone 3g?

kung yung first, alam ko hindi pwede kasi nga 2g network lang sya. kung mapagana mo man, masyadong mabagal ang connection dahil gprs/edge lang yun.

Seriously, i bought sun and smart sim just to use my internet for iphone 2g. Well I saw this site tried over and over still won’t work, I can’t use my globe kasi ginagamit ko for blackberry. Pls any pls help me so. Thanks!!!

hi, i tried loading my pldt weroam plus sim to my nokia E72 in hopes that I could connect to mobile internet using my phone. I used the above apn settings and also tried the apn settings in my modem. however, it doesn’t seem to connect. It only works well using my Huwaei E220 HSDPA USB Modem. Any advice you have to help me make it work? Thanks :-)

problema dahil hindi ako maka pasok if i conpigure to gprs manually all settings i have done but no action can’t conpigured it. ano ang kailangan gawin q.

walang wenta yung sun agent na kausap ko eh. APN lang hinihingi ko wala daw sila dahil Dell Streak5 gamit ko. wtf. eh same APNs din naman for all phones basta SUN cell.
