Acer Chromebook Spin 714, Chromebook Tab 510 now official

Acer has launched a pair of productivity devices yesterday at their “Next At Acer” event, the Acer Chromebook Spin 714 and the Acer Chromebook Tab 510.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 714 is a 2-in-1 laptop that is powered by 12th generation Intel processors. It has up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It features a 360 degree hinge to use the laptop in tablet mode, has an aluminum body, and military grade MIL-STD 810H certification.

It has two resolution options, 2560 x 1600 and 1920 x 1200, both options come in a 16:10 aspect ratio and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. Other features include connectivity conveniences such as Wi-FI 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI port, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Acer claims a battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge and a 30 minute charge gives users up to 4 hours of battery life.

The Chromebook Tab 510 comes with a 10.1 IPS LCD screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 with an Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

It also comes with pen support and the same MIL STD 810H certifications for toughness and features shock absorbing corner bumpers and a reinforced design.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 714 is priced at USD 749.99 while the Chromebook Tab 510 will start at USD 399. Both devices will be available later this year.
