ASUS ROG Flow X13 convertible gaming laptop w/ ROG XG Mobile eGPU now official




ASUS ROG has just unveiled a new gaming laptop in a convertible design with support for the ROG XG Mobile external GPU, the ROG Flow X13.

The ROG Flow X13 is the company’s first gaming 2-in-1. It sports an ultraslim 13-inch body that measures 15.8mm thin and 1.3kg in weight. It has a 360-degree hinge, allowing you to freely adjust the display’s angle or flip it to different modes suitable for gaming, drawing, or presenting.

Other features include a touch screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass, integrated one-touch login, edge-to-edge keyboard, ASUS Pen support, textured exterior, improved cooling system with liquid metal, and Dual Arc Flow fans.

As for the ROG XG Mobile GPU, it connects to the ROG Flow 13 via the proprietary XG Mobile connector. To bypass bottlenecks, the XG Mobile connects directly to the CPU with a custom PCIe 3.0 x8 interface that’s much faster than Thunderbolt 4. Powering it is an integrated 280W adapter that also feeds the ROG Flow 13. It will be available with up to a GeForce RTX 3080 GPU clocked to 1810MHz at 150W with ROG Boost.
