Microsoft has finally pulled down the curtain on their next-generation gaming console. Aptly named the XBox One, the set up combines entertainment, gaming, TV and movies into one device.
The XBox One replaces the XBox 360 as Microsoft’s latest video game console and will directly compete with the likes of the PlayStation 4 and the Wii U.
Microsoft XBox One specs:
8-core processor
8GB RAM
500GB HDD
Blu-ray drive
HDMI port
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct
USB 3.0 ports
1080p Kinect Sensor
XBox Live
XBox OS
The console will have access to TV shows (via the cable box), movies, entertainment, games (XBox Live), and Internet Explorer. Players can also even pop up on a Skype window while playing.

Internet connectivity needed = fail.
Games installed on internal HDD = nice BUT…need to pay when you install (i.e. need credit card?) = massive 3rd world FAIL. This also means mandatory XBL account because games are linked to your XBL account, which leads to…
…no lending discs to friends/family members/barkada = FAIL. Don’t care much about used game market but this alone sucks ass.
Always-on Kinect camera = CREEPY (not to mention waste of power).
Also…I wonder just how far 500gb will reach when many games these days are 10-30gb (installed) now.
Needs to connect to internet at least once a day in order to play single player game.
What i like about the new XBOX One is the improve voice control, you can now switch channels using your voice.
my body is ready…
Finally, PC Ports should run even better now…
If the requirements for the next 3 Years are similar to Crysis 3 and Metro Last Light, I will be playing Next Gen Games for the next 3 Years totally or nearly maxed out at Full 1080p Res.
Finally getting my money’s worth of Graphics.
Reminds me of my old VCR.
My dude says its not backwards compatible so.. Its a waste of money
Same goes for the PS4 because of the different processor compared to their predecessors. The use of x86 processors will definitely shed some light on improved ports for PC games.
reminds me of HTC One.
