The ASUS Zenfone 3 is getting closer and closer to Philippines as the Taiwanese comapany launched the entire lineup in our neighboring country, Malaysia. Pricing was also revealed so we could get a fair idea how much it would cost when it arrives locally.
The top-spec’d model among the bunch, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, is priced at MYR3,299 (approx. Php38K). It’s pricey but don’t forget that it sports the updated Snapdragon 821 processor with 6GB RAM 256GB of UFS 2.0 storage.
There’s also the model with Snapdragon 820, 6GB RAM, and 64GB of storage will retails at MYR2,599 (approx. Php30K).
As for the Zenfone 3 Ultra with its 6.8-inch display, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage is also at MYR2,599. Meanwhile, the Zenfone 3 Laser is at MYR999 (approx. Php11.6K) and the Zenfone 3 Max with its 4100mAh battery will be light on the pocket at MYR799 (approx. Php9.2K)
As for the vanilla Zenfone 3 variants, we have the 5.2-inch for MYR1,499 (approx. Php17.4K for 4GB/64GB) and the 5.5-inch model is at MYR1,699 (approx. Php19.7K) with the same internals.
The Zenfone 3 lineup will launch in the Philippines this month so stay tuned as we wait for the official pricing.

At those prices, the 3 higher end model will not sell. I am eyeing the Ultra but at 30k, I go for the Galaxy A9 Pro, slightly smaller screen but 4k cheaper. Only the Selfie and the Max are priced to sell,
Hopefully, the Philippines’ prices will be cheaper but it seems unlikely, given that Malaysia has a 0% duties and 6% sales tax on phones while we (Philippines) levies 0% duties and 12% sales tax (VAT).
Maybe ASUS will price it lower here in the Philippines considering that it has to compete against cheap Chinese brands? Just wishing.

if asus will price zenfone 3 series like zenfone 2 (excluding zenfone 3 deluxe and the 6.8″ variant), then 32GB-64GB variants will likely be 12000php-17000php price range.
