RIM has partnered with Porsche to produce the limited-edition BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981, a stainless-steel Porsche-inspired handset running on the Bold 9900 specs.
The only difference would be the slightly smaller screen size. The rest are practically pulled from the BlackBerry Bold 9900.
BlackBerry P’9981 specs:
• 2.4″ capacitive touch screen display @ 640×480 pixels
• QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad
• 1.2 GHz processor
• 768 MB RAM
• 8GB on-board memory,
• microSD slot supporting up to 32GB
• NFC technology
• 5MP camera w/ 720p HD video recording
• Orientation Sensor (Accelerometer)
• Digital Compass (Magnetometer)
• Proximity Sensor
• GPS with aGPS support
• Dual-Band WiFi 802.11 b/g/n @ 2.4 GHz and 802.11 a/n @ 5GHz
• Bluetooth 2.1+EDR

Of course, the Porsche brand itself makes this a premium handset and will sell in excess of $2,000 or about Php87,000. Definitely screams “collector’s item”.
Any takers?
Wla lang kayong pambilo
Its just like my blackberry bold 9900
bland design… not worth the premium…
this is, by far, the silliest looking Blackberry phone that I have ever seen….
Uglyness!
a scientific calculator inspired smartphone??? hell no to me!!!
yuck. hehehe. ang panget naman
only those who have “limited” thinking will buy this limited edition phone. with that price, you can already buy a smartphone that does more than this and use the remaining money for anything else.
$2000 for a piece of bar that’s dumber than a smartphone? no, thank you.
it’s better to buy an iphone 4s or an android smartphone…it’s much more practical than buying this piece of luxurized crap.
the specs does not sound “porsche” for me.
just another luxury cr@p brought in town, meh.
Obscenely priced, meant for Paris Hilton and the like… maybe thats why it is a “limited edition: for the limited market of the obscene:)
The specs aren’t exactly at par with iphones 4s or the galaxy s2 check out http://adfoc.us/99951250166
