Cherry Mobile finally unveiled the Flare S5 — a mid-range phone in Cherry’s latest Flare Premium series.
The Flare S5 is a five-inch smartphone that sports an IPS display of 1280×720 resolution. Powering the S5 is a 1.3GHz MediaTek Octa-core processor with a Mali T720 GPU. It also features 3GB of RAM, a common amount for any phone today, and 16GB of internal storage. The S5’s storage can be expanded via the microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB.
The S5 is encased by a metal frame and has a fingerprint scanner on its home button. On the back it sports a 16MP BSI-PDAF rear camera with LED Flash, and an 8MP BSI camera on the front. It also features a USB-Type C connector, Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and a 2400mAh battery.
