Announced on the first week of January 2015, the Samsung Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 will be released in the Philippines sometime end of February or first week of March. We had a short hands-on time with the E5 and E7 at the Samsung SEA Forum here in Bangkok last week.

The Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 are supposed to be a more affordable alternative to the premium-built Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. With that, Samsung is using the usual polycarbonate materials on the Galaxy E5/E7.

The Galaxy E series seems to be replacing the old Galaxy Grand series which features larger display screens and decent, entry-level hardware configuration. The design signature is very typical Samsung which makes it really hard to identify because they all look the same. That includes a smooth polycarbonate material in glossy finish with a loud silver trimming along the sides.

The back panel has a soft matte finish with the protruding camera and LED flash. The dual-SIM version of the series will have a label “Duos” printed at the back as well.

IMHO the prob with samsung is they are over saturating their line of mobile phones. maybe they could try what Xiaomi is doing, papaasahin ka sa short time of sale tapos wala na ulit, yung sabik factor tumatagal. Unlike what they are doing, just a little diffence in the case, a new mobile model is there!

anyway perhaps we the consumers are learning na din, na we are not biting their traps kaya yan, dahan dahan na silang bumababa.

I reeeaaally hope Samsung goes bankrupt after losing 60% customers to other OEMS i really do~ if they priced it at 10k then it’s a good phone! but nope they just want to keep digging their grave.
