Samsung Galaxy S9 confirmed to launch at MWC 2018

Samsung’s president of mobile business, DJ Koh, has confirmed the launch of the company’s first flagship smartphone this year at a press conference in CES 2018, Las Vegas.

According to Koh, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be launched at a major trade show next month which is also when MWC 2018 will kick-off. As far as details are concerned, Speculation currently pins down that the standard-sized Galaxy S9 will come with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and options for 64GB or 128GB of storage. Moreover, that highly anticipated under-display fingerprint scanner which is similar with Vivo’s isn’t happening due to unaddressed technical challenges.

The Samsung executive has also confirmed that sales will start kicking off in March 2018.
