The Galaxy S9 is the clear winner in terms of display. Since it has a higher screen resolution, aspect ratio, and pixel density, users will have a better viewing experience but that doesn’t mean that OnePlus 5T’s display isn’t good. The latter’s display type is Optic AMOLED that derives from Super AMOLED. The difference is that it has been basically modified for a more battery efficient usage but they still both have the risk of “burn-in”.

Samsung has also released a flagship processor which is the Exynos 9810 with a Mali G72-MP18 GPU. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 5T is equipped with a Snapdragon 835 that is also a flagship processor. The former has a 4x 2.9GHz Quad-core(Custom CPU) with a 4x 1.9GHz Quad-core (Cortex-A55) while the latter has a 4x 2.45GHz Kryo 280 and 4x 1.9GHz Kryo 280. Looking at their clock speeds, we can see that the Galaxy S9 has the upper-hand in terms of CPU performance. As for gaming potential, both devices perform great when playing light-to-heavy graphics games at highest settings.

The Galaxy S9 has a single rear and front camera set-up while the OnePlus 5T has a dual-rear and single camera one. The S9 though has a wider f/1.5 aperture with OIS and 2x optical zoom for the rear and f/1.7 aperture on the front for better low-light performance. The 5T, on the other hand, has a higher rear and front camera resolution.

The Galaxy S9 has a 3,000mAh battery while the OnePlus 5T has a 3,300mAh. Both have fast charging tech of their own, however, the former has a wireless charging feature that the latter doesn’t have.

Samsung’s Galaxy series is known for having new features such as an Iris scanner, heart rate scanner, Samsung Bixby with Bixby Vision 2.0, and an IP68 dust and water-resistance which the OnePlus 5T doesn’t have.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is priced at Php45,990 while the OnePlus 5T is priced at Php26,990/Php30,990 (64GB/128GB).

In summary, if users want to have a better viewing experience with an expandable storage slot and lots of features, then the Galaxy S9 is for them. If they want to have a more affordable device with a larger RAM. internal storage, higher rear, and front camera resolution, then the OnePlus 5T is the right smartphone for them.

The OnePlus5t has a higher resolution? I think you should analyze the features. The S9 has a variable aperture that can change from f1.5(The widest on a phone right now) to f2.4. S9 also has a built in software that processes picture to reduce noise. So in summary S9 has a better camera.

One thing missed – S9 has variable aperture. This allows better low light pictures. Theoretically, as Samsung has said, it allows 28% more light. Therefore, it should have a better camera.

I agree Freeje. S9 has a better camera the megapixels doesn’t matter, its about the aperture the wider it is the better so since the s9 has a 1.5 to 2.4 which is the forst in the market, its better . AlsoThe s9 can process images like the google pixel 2. Some features you present are only a few.
